Born in the Water.
Elite Scuba Diving and Training was built by divers, for divers — with one mission: to produce the safest, most skilled, and most passionate divers in Maryland.
Why We Dive
Elite Scuba was founded on a simple belief: that great diving starts with great training. Too many divers enter the water underprepared, and too many dive centers treat certification as a checkbox rather than a foundation. We do things differently.
Based in Maryland, we serve the Mid-Atlantic diving community — from the Chesapeake Bay to Atlantic coast shipwrecks to local quarry dives. Our instructors have logged thousands of dives across these waters and bring that real-world experience into every class.
As an official TDI/SDI training center, every certification we issue meets the highest international standards. Whether you're taking your first breath underwater or pushing into technical territory, you'll leave our program ready for whatever the ocean throws at you.

Specializing in beginner and recreational courses, Rick has a gift for making first-time divers feel at ease in the water. He is passionate about diving both locally and internationally. If Rick is not teaching he can be found diving in Bonaire or the Great Lakes!
